About Mortgage Broker Select
An Australian directory of mortgage brokers. Listings compiled from publicly available information, with paid placement always labelled.

Our story
Choosing a mortgage broker usually starts with a search, a referral or a name on a sign. It is hard to tell from that what a broker focuses on, which lenders they work with, or how they are paid.
Mortgage Broker Select puts those details side by side for brokers right across Australia, not just the ones with the biggest marketing budgets. You can search by suburb or postcode, compare listings, then call a broker, visit their website, or send one enquiry to up to three brokers.
We are a directory, not a broker or a lender. We do not give credit advice or arrange loans, and we do not recommend a broker for you.
Some brokers pay for a fuller listing and a labelled local featured section. Borrowers do not pay Mortgage Broker Select anything.
How we make money
Some brokers pay for a Featured or Featured+ listing. That gives them a fuller page and a card in a labelled featured section for an agreed local area. Payment does not change the order of ordinary results: every broker stays in the same place in the list whether or not they pay.
On a suburb or city page, up to five Featured or Featured+ listings can appear above the ordinary results under a heading marked “Paid placement”, with a link back to this page. Featured+ listings come first, then Featured, each in order of distance to the suburb. How many places a page has depends on how many brokers it lists, each brand can hold one place on a page, and no area is sold exclusively. A Featured or Featured+ listing carries its badge on its card and on its listing page.
When you send one enquiry to up to three brokers, brokers with a Featured or Featured+ place on that suburb’s page are listed first, Featured+ then Featured, each with its badge and under a heading marked as paid placement. Everyone else follows in the suburb page order, never by payment, and you choose who to ask.
If you filter by specialty, brokers who match are moved up the ordinary list, whether or not they pay.
Paying does not change a broker's rating or review count. Featured and Featured+ listings go through the same editorial review as every other listing. None of this changes a ranking on Google or any other search engine.
An enquiry goes only to the broker or brokers you choose, when we hold an email for them, with a copy to the Mortgage Broker Select team. It is not sent to anyone else, whether or not a listing is Featured.
Brokers themselves are usually paid commission by the lender, and some also charge a fee. Where we hold it, each listing shows how the broker says they are paid. Ask the broker to confirm before you go ahead.
What we believe
Clear about payment
Featured and Featured+ listings sit in a featured section marked "Paid placement". Ordinary results keep their own order.
Built for borrowers
A directory built around what borrowers need to compare, not advertising budgets.
Editorial care
We review the listings we compile before publishing. Changes a broker makes in their own listing editor go live straight away.
Broad coverage
Capital cities and regional towns across Australia, with listings in all states and territories.
